UBS Report: Total Personal Wealth Surpasses 10.8% Growth in 2025, More Than Doubling 2024’s Increase

Global personal wealth surged by 10.8% in 2025, according to UBS’s Global Wealth Report 2026, significantly outpacing growth rates from previous years.

This rapid expansion was driven by strong financial markets and rising asset prices, leading to a record number of new millionaires worldwide – nearly one million individuals added their names to the list.

The United States saw the highest concentration of these newly minted millionaires, with over 440,000 Americans joining the ranks during 2025. This growth was also evident in Europe due to the US dollar’s depreciation against the euro.

Despite this overall increase, wealth inequality remains a significant issue as average household wealth continues to rise while median wealth declines in many countries, highlighting a growing gap between the wealthiest and the rest of society.
