
British health agency identifies additional suspected case of hantavirus
The UK Health Security Agency has announced that another suspected case of hantavirus has been identified in a British national residing on the South Atlantic island of Tristan da Cunha. This brings to three the total number of cases confirmed among British nationals as part of its ongoing monitoring efforts related to a deadly outbreak aboard a luxury cruise ship, according to an update released on Friday.
