UK Returns to Normal Weather After Record-Breaking Heatwave

Last Friday, Suffolk recorded 37.3°C, marking a record-breaking heatwave across the UK.

The Met Office forecasts typical summer weather for this week, with sunny spells expected nationwide.

North West and parts of Scotland may see increased cloud cover and showers in the early part of the week.

Temperatures are set to rise into the low-to-mid twenties, potentially reaching 27C in London from Thursday.

Met Office forecaster Honor Criswick predicts fresher air but warns of continued sunshine.

South-east England is forecast to reach approximately 24-25°C by day’s end, hinting at another heatwave.

North West and Scotland may experience showers with temperatures remaining between 23-24 C.

Heavy rainfall expected in North West region reaching North East by afternoon on Tuesday.

WXCharts forecasts a third heatwave on July 7, with temperatures hitting 32C in south-east England.

Met Office’s three-month outlook indicates above-normal temperatures through late July, with more hot conditions likely.
