The United States Postal Service (USPS) is set to introduce new pricing adjustments starting this Sunday. The first-class forever stamp will rise from 78 cents to 82 cents, while domestic postcards will increase to 65 cents and international ones to $1.75.

Additionally, the USPS has implemented a Hazmat handling fee of $7.50 for Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express shipments containing hazardous materials.

The Postal Service cited a severe financial crisis and rising operational costs as reasons for these increases. Despite these hikes, the USPS remains committed to its universal service obligation and aims to maintain affordability for American consumers.
