Uzbek President Signs Joint Declaration with Pakistani PM on Strategic Cooperation

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, His Excellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on February 5-6, 2026. The visit was at the invitation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

Mirziyoyev’s trip took place in Islamabad and resulted in agreements between both countries. Both nations signed duplicate documents in both Uzbek and English languages on February 5, 2026, in Islamabad.

The visit underscored the strengthening diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
