According to his sister, Mazhar Ali passed away peacefully in his sleep after a long period of illness, which had also kept him away from television work. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, and a son.
Mazhar Ali held a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from NED University, but he was best known for his extensive acting career. He made a significant impact with his performances in popular Pakistan Television dramas such as Shaheen, Khuda Aur Mohabbat, Hala, Intezaar Kar Bhi, Tabeer, Aroosa, and Afshan.
