Veteran Journalist Qamar Ahmed Passes Away at 88 in Karachi

Veteran sports journalist Qamar Ahmed passed away in Karachi on Thursday. He was 88 years old.

Family sources revealed that Ahmed had suffered a heart attack two weeks prior to his death.

Ahmed represented Hyderabad division team in 17 first-class matches during his cricketing career.

He later became one of Pakistan’s most distinguished sports journalists, covering over 450 Test matches in a seven-decade career spanning across continents.
