In response to the outcry, an ASF spokesperson confirmed the authenticity of the video but emphasized that the officer’s actions were isolated and not reflective of the entire force. The spokesperson assured that disciplinary action has been taken against the officer, reiterating the ASF’s commitment to upholding standards of conduct and prohibiting mistreatment of individuals.

The incident has raised concerns about airport security personnel’s behavior and training, prompting calls for stricter oversight and measures to ensure passenger safety, particularly for children. Authorities are expected to investigate the matter further to prevent similar incidents and uphold the dignity of individuals passing through airports.
