In Lahore, former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram has been appointed as President of Sialkot Stallions, marking a significant move in the burgeoning Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise landscape. The announcement took place at an exclusive event hosted by Alpha Ozy Sports, where Akram was formally introduced to his new role.

The team unveiled its official logo during the ceremony, signaling their commitment to innovation and support for women’s cricket within the league. Acclaimed former Australian cricket captain Tim Paine also attended the event, pledging to incorporate modern features into the Pakistan Super League (PSL) while reinforcing cricket standards across the board. Akram himself was present remotely, eagerly embracing his new role as President.
