Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar stated that success in Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos and Marka-e-Haq has given Pakistan a new stature. The ceremony, held in Islamabad, marked the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq. Tarar said Pakistan’s victory on diplomatic, narrative-building, and military fronts during these operations will be remembered forever. He also noted that India launched a false-flag operation last May, to which Pakistan responded firmly and demanded an independent, fair and transparent inquiry. Pakistani forces shot down eight Indian aircraft in the process. Later, Attaullah Tarar joined a candlelight vigil with students to honour the martyrs of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos and pay tribute to their sacrifices.
