Jahangir Tareen to Collaborate with Nawaz Sharif for Government Formation

Jahangir Tareen, Chairman of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), made a significant declaration at an election rally in Multan, affirming his intention to collaborate with Nawaz Sharif in the event of government formation, with Sharif serving as their leader.

Addressing the crowd in his hometown of Multan, Tareen reiterated his commitment to enhancing the local economy, ensuring salary increments for workers, and fostering collective efforts to propel the nation towards prosperity.

Highlighting the importance of prayer and unity, Tareen stressed the necessity for all individuals, regardless of political affiliations, to unite for the betterment of the nation. He predicted economic growth, job creation, and national development under Nawaz Sharif’s leadership, envisioning a brighter future post-February 8.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-N President and former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif addressed allegations of corruption during a press conference at the party secretariat in Lahore.

Shehbaz Sharif cited a recent report from Transparency International, asserting that the corruption index decreased during Nawaz Sharif’s tenure. He refuted accusations of corruption related to the motorway project, highlighting its positive impact on millions of people.

Critiquing the 2018 government formation, Shehbaz Sharif denounced it as the outcome of rigging and witchcraft, urging the public to shape the country’s future through votes on February 8.
