A Royal Expert Warns Charles’ Reign is Under Threat Amid Andrew’s Scandal

In a new episode of The Lownie Report, royal expert Andrew Lownie issued a stark warning about King Charles III’s reign. The warnings come after revelations linking the King’s disgraced brother, Prince Andrew, to allegations involving Jeffrey Epstein.

Lownie stated, “There have been calls on radio programs for him [Charles] to use his health as an excuse to step aside and allow William to clean up this mess. It seems that Charles isn’t doing it.” He went on to say, “My own feeling is that Charles’ reign will be defined by how he deals with Epstein. If he’s prepared to address the issue openly and give a fresh start to his son Prince William, I think it could save him from further weakening and damaging the monarchy.”

However, royal insiders have noted that the Palace remains committed to containing this scandal, believing they can manage its impact. But Lownie warned that Charles’ position is already precarious; he finds himself in “a difficult position,” where his trust and respect are waning, and many see him as “weak” for protecting Andrew.

The historian added, “Charles needs to be much more ruthless in handling this problem, otherwise it will not only damage the monarchy but diminish its popularity. He should face up to the truth about what was known.”
