‘Cuba is Next’: Trump Hints at Future Target, Raises Stakes Post-Iran, Venezuela Moves

US President Donald Trump said “Cuba is next” during a speech at an investment forum in Miami, where he touted successes of US military action in Venezuela and Iran. He did not specify what precisely he plans to do with the island nation but has frequently indicated that the government in Havana is on the verge of collapse.

His administration has opened up negotiations with elements of Cuba’s leadership in recent weeks while hinting at kinetic action could be possible. Over the past 27 days, U.S. armed forces have been annihilating Iran’s military capacity with force, precision, skill like the world has never seen.
