Lebanon Health Ministry Reports 10 Dead in Israeli Strikes

The health ministry of Lebanon reported ten fatalities from Israeli strikes in south Lebanon on Saturday. The casualties included three emergency workers – a member of Lebanese civil defence and two paramedics from Islamic Health Committee.

Israel’s “Systematic” Targeting of Emergency Workers

The ministry also stated that the deadly strikes hit locations in Nabatiyeh district, where Israel allegedly targeted emergency workers with its airstrikes.

Lebanon to Hold Meeting with Israel on Ceasefire in Washington Next Week

Earlier, Lebanon’s presidency announced a meeting between Israel and Lebanon in Washington next week. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss a ceasefire in the ongoing conflict and initiate negotiations between the two nations.
