CTD Arrests Two Suspected Militants in Karachi Operation

Two suspected militants linked to the banned Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army were arrested during a joint operation by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and an intelligence agency in Karachi. The suspects identified as Allah Dino, son of Ghulam Muhammad, and Faraz Ahmed alias Toto, had weapons and explosives recovered from their possession.

Authorities registered cases against the suspects under the Explosives Act and anti-terrorism laws. CTD officials stated that Faraz Ahmed alias Toto was already wanted in multiple cases, including planning attacks on sensitive installations. The suspect confessed to involvement in various operations with his associates, including the firing incident at the Chinese Dental Clinic in Karachi’s Saddar area, which resulted in a doctor’s death and two injuries.
