All Station House Officers (SHOs), inspectors, sub-inspectors, and assistant sub-inspectors are instructed to review their Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts and remove any objectionable or inappropriate content.

The policy explicitly bans police officials from posting photos or videos in uniform on their personal social media profiles, particularly in non-official or private settings.

Officials stated that the move is intended to maintain departmental discipline and prevent misuse of police identity and uniforms on digital platforms.

According to guidelines, images or videos featuring officers in uniform can only be shared through official police accounts. Any such content on personal profiles has been strictly prohibited.
