Govt, PPP Set for Budget Talks Today

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) President Asif Ali Zardari is set to meet with his negotiating committee, including Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Murad Ali Shah, Naveed Qamar, and Sherry Rehman. The meeting aims to finalize plans for consultations between the government and the PPP on budget-related matters.

The federal government is seeking Rs1.7 trillion in funds from the provinces, according to sources. Prime Minister’s Adviser Rana Sanaullah expressed hope that both parties would reach a consensus on this issue during their discussions.
