The UN nuclear watchdog plans to conduct inspections in Iran following a recent peace accord between the United States and Iran. Rafael Grossi, chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), stated this during a press conference in Japan.

The two sides signed a 14-point memorandum of understanding last week, outlining broad agreements aimed at ending hostilities. This interim agreement allows for 60 days of talks to finalize more detailed aspects, including Iran’s nuclear program.
