Ahya Technologies Partners with Bank Alfalah to Advance Sustainable Finance and Portfolio Decarbonization

Bank Alfalah, one of Pakistan’s largest banks, has partnered with Ahya Technologies (“Ahya”) to deliver a suite of AI-powered software and strategic advisory services geared to accelerate Bank Alfalah’s green-banking and sustainable finance transition.

As the demand for sustainable finance across Pakistan reaches a critical inflection point, the OICCI reports that the country requires between $40 billion and $50 billion annually to tackle climate risks. This stands in stark contrast to the current active climate finance portfolio of approximately $400 million managed through the Climate Finance wing at Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination (MoCCEC). Under this partnership, Bank Alfalah and Ahya Technologies will work together to strengthen the Bank’s sustainable finance and green banking agenda.
