AI Agents Help Manage Work During Employee Vacations

Summer break often means more work for those back at the office. Management consulting firm Korn Ferry suggests using AI agents or custom bots to handle basic tasks like scheduling meetings and correspondence during this time.

This approach helps balance business needs with employee downtime, according to Bryan Ackerman, head of AI strategy and transformation at Korn Ferry. “AI can summarize emails and documents, making everything visible to colleagues while the person is away,” Ackerman said.

However, concerns about job security and privacy may arise from using AI agents during summer months. Additionally, deploying this technology could be costly for organizations.

Malwarebytes head of consumer business Mark Beare notes that employees must trust AI agents to act professionally and competently when making decisions without human oversight.
