Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government issues travel advisory for tourists amid planned protests

The AJK government has advised tourists to avoid travel between June 5 and June 20 due to planned demonstrations announced by the Joint Awami Action Committee on June 9. Authorities have appealed to the public to avoid non-essential travel during this period, citing potential disruptions from the protests.

Officials stated that the advisory is a precautionary measure aimed at ensuring public safety and minimizing travel-related difficulties during the protest period. Travelers currently in AJK are advised to complete their activities and return by evening to avoid inconvenience.
