Anti-Narcotics Court Established in Rawalpindi to Address 653 Pending Cases

Authorities in Rawalpindi have decided to establish a new anti-narcotics court, Anti-Narcotics Special Court No. 2, due to an increasing backlog of cases. Currently, there are 653 pending cases at the existing anti-narcotics court.

Judge Raja Ghazanfar and prosecutor Zia Kayani will preside over the new court. The official opening is expected within two days, with staff appointments finalized today.
