Lahore Qalandars’ Fakhar Zaman faces potential T20 Pakistan Super League ban following ball-tampering charge.

The Kings secured victory with five penalty runs after umpires determined that the Pakistan international altered the ball’s condition during Sunday’s match.

PSL statement: “Fakhar denied the charge at a disciplinary hearing led by match referee Roshan Mahanama.”

A further hearing is scheduled within 48 hours, where the match referee will deliver his verdict. A ban of at least one PSL match may be imposed if found guilty.
