Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has issued a clear warning to India, stating that any military provocation would draw a firm and decisive response. While reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to peace in the region, the Army Chief stressed that this commitment does not diminish the nation’s state of readiness or its will to defend itself.

The statement came during General Munir’s visit to the Tilla Field Firing Ranges, where he observed war games conducted by the Mangla Strike Corps. The drills were aimed at testing combat readiness and operational capabilities of frontline troops.

The Army Chief commended the discipline, morale, and combat preparedness of the troops, expressing full confidence in their ability to uphold national security. He noted that the armed forces remain fully equipped and mentally ready to counter any threat.

The visit underscored the military’s ongoing focus on readiness and deterrence amid heightened tensions along the eastern border.
