Athens Apartment Collapse: Rescuers Search Trapped Victims

Greek rescuers are searching for people trapped following a four-storey apartment block collapse in Athens’ Petralona area on Tuesday. Four previously reported trapped individuals have been located and are safe, but the operation continues. Crews with rescue dogs are scouring the rubble while other forces remain on standby.

The cause of the building’s collapse remains unclear. Construction work was underway in an adjacent building at the time.
