At least 37 terrorists were killed and 10 security personnel were martyred after coordinated attacks at 12 locations across Balochistan, according to security officials. The Fitna al-Hindustan group is responsible for these attacks. Timely action by security forces thwarted all the attacks.

Security sources stated that 37 terrorists had been killed so far, while 10 soldiers and police personnel were martyred “while fighting to protect the land and its people.” Pursuit operations continued at several locations with reports of further militant casualties and losses.

Officials reported law enforcement agencies had already killed 41 terrorists linked to the same group in separate operations across Balochistan over the past 24 hours.

Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind said, “After more than 70 terrorists were killed at different locations in Balochistan over the last two days, militants attempted attacks in a few places in the province. Police and the Frontier Corps (FC) countered them through timely action. The pursuit of fleeing terrorists is ongoing. Further details will be shared soon.”

Meanwhile, armed attacks, firing, and explosions were reported across the province, including Quetta. In Quetta, gunmen attacked a police mobile unit on Sariab Road, killing two police personnel and injuring three others. Fire broke out in their vehicle but firefighters brought it under control.

A blast near Hockey Chowk in the Red Zone injured two people who were taken to hospital. Authorities sealed parts of the Red Zone while activities at Civil Secretariat, courts, and some government offices were temporarily suspended.

Armed men attacked Khaliq Shaheed police station in the Eastern Bypass area with casualties reported. Videos showing an attack on Sheikh Zayed Hospital circulated online. Attackers also targeted private banks in Hazarganji and entered a private school on Zarghoon Road. Firing was reported on major roads such as Sariab Road, Qambrani Road, and Zarghoon Road. Security checkpoints were set up at entry and exit points of Quetta with residents advised to avoid unnecessary movement.

Mobile data services were suspended in Quetta while internet services were temporarily shut down in some parts of Balochistan due to the security situation. Emergency measures were imposed at government hospitals across the province, including Civil Hospital Quetta, BMC Hospital, and trauma centers.

Attempts were made to carry out attacks in Quetta, Noshki, Dalbandin, Kalat, Gwadar, Pasni, Tump, and Mastung. Clearance operations continued in affected areas with reports of several terrorists killed.

In Mastung, Kalat, and Pasni, militants targeted government buildings and security installations. In Mastung, the attackers injured a police officer while freeing more than 30 prisoners from the central jail. Clashes were reported near DC headquarters and police lines in Kalat.

In Noshki, armed men abducted Deputy Commissioner Hussain Hazara along with his family. Security forces repelled an attack on a Coast Guards post, killing eight terrorists in return fire. Authorities closed Quetta–Sibi highway at Bolan for all traffic, shut the Quetta–Karachi–Taftan highway at Lak Pass, and blocked Qila Saifullah–Rakhni road.

In Nasirabad, security forces defused explosive material on a railway track.

Shahid Rind stated that terrorists attempted attacks but were pushed back. The situation was under control with all necessary measures taken to protect the public.
