ISLAMABAD – The chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, has stated that neither the jail superintendent nor the administration has contacted them regarding Imran Khan’s upcoming medical examination at Adiala Jail.
In a recent statement, Barrister Gohhar emphasized that from the outset, their demand was for Imran Khan’s personal doctors to be part of the medical board overseeing his health assessment. He noted that the government had not discussed including family members and personal physicians in this process.
Khan added that Imran Khan’s sister and other opposition figures have consistently maintained that the founder should be moved immediately to Al-Shifa Hospital, where he could receive treatment with his personal doctors present during the examination.
The chairman expressed frustration over what he perceived as a lack of cooperation from all parties involved in facilitating this crucial health matter for PTI’s founding leader.
