Blac Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, has announced she is taking a break from the dating scene to focus on self-healing and personal growth following her split with Derrick Milano in July 2025. The engagement and subsequent divorce between Blac and Derrick, who are both 32 years old at the time of their relationship’s end, began in October 2024.
Since their separation, White has spoken candidly about her journey towards healing. “I’m like, ‘If love is going to find me, it will find me,’ but I need to heal myself first,” she told PEOPLE Magazine. Her statement comes months after revealing that they were “growing in different directions” due to the challenges of their relationship.
Reflecting on her new phase, White explained, “I’m taking a break from the love circuit and giving all my love to myself. Once I’m fully healed, when I do meet someone who’s the man of my dreams, I’ll be fully prepared for it.”
White has two children: King Cairo with former flame Tyga, and Dream with ex-partner Rob Kardashian. Discussing her approach to parenting, she emphasized that both children are uninterested in social media pressures, preferring a more traditional childhood experience.
“I’m keeping them sheltered but not isolated,” White explained. “They’re just being kids, and I’m letting them be kids. I don’t want to put any kind of pressure on them.”
In addition to her self-healing journey, Chyna has remained active in the public eye, sharing updates about her family. Her openness about their lives without focusing solely on the pressures of fame showcases a thoughtful perspective that aligns with her commitment to her children’s well-being and innocence.
Blac Chyna’s approach to personal growth and family prioritization continues to be an inspiration for those navigating relationships and parenting in today’s media-saturated environment.
