Bowen Yang is enthusiastically discussing his recent stint as a costar in the 2026 Ritz-Carlton Super Bowl advertisement alongside superstars Scarlett Johansson and Jon Hamm.
In the ad, the comedian and Mad Men star are shown sitting in a treehouse, lamenting their exclusion from a beach party. “Another day, another Ritz party,” grumbles Jon bitterly before accusing his colleagues of ignoring them. Bowen responds with disdain: “Well, we’re salty and we hate parties and mingling.”
“They do have all the Ritz crackers though. That salty, buttery flavor,” Jon mentions yearningly. “Let’s go for five minutes.”
“I’ll only go if my feet don’t touch the sand at all,” Bowen quips back.
At this moment, Scarlett appears on a jet ski and takes off her sunglasses, shouting: “Hey, salties, what’s the holdup? It’s party time!”
Jon attempts to explain where his friend is, but he’s not there. Instead, he turns to Scarlett who already has him in tow behind the Black Widow star.
Bowen Yang describes filming with these leading figures as a delightful and seamless experience, having worked on Saturday Night Live (SNL) with them previously in 2025. He added: “It was remarkably lovely and easy with people that I already worked with.”
Looking around, he remarks, “I was flanked by two of the hardest working people in show business.”
Bowen felt fortunate to debut alongside his old friends Scarlett Johansson (also known as Scarlett Johansson) and Jon Hamm. He gushed: “It’s crazy—I already intimately worked with these people before. It’s incredibly lucky.”
