Bunnie Xo, wife of country singer Jelly Roll, discussed her perspective on dating during an appearance on Playboy.
A fan asked about his looks, prompting Bunnie’s advice that men should “make a woman laugh” rather than focus solely on their appearance. For the podcast host, she emphasized that “looks are not everything.”
“I’ve never dated a man for their looks,” Bunnie shared. “I’ve always dated a man for how he made me feel.” She advised men currently dating to find another woman if they’re only attracted to someone’s appearance, as looks fade over time.
Bunnie and Jelly Roll married in 2016 and renewed their vows in 2023. In an earlier interview with People about her memoir Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic, Bunnie reflected on the challenges of their early marriage and how Jelly Roll’s affair in 2018 nearly ended it.
“At that time,” she recalled, “we were both at our worst. He was dealing with drugs, I had just escaped a toxic relationship. We had to learn together.”
