The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted cold and dry weather across most parts of the country, with mountainous regions experiencing freezing temperatures due to snowfall.

Skardu, Astor, Hunza, and Neelum Valley have reported snowfall, plunging temperatures below freezing. Popular tourist spots like Murree and Galiyat are also facing strong winds and snowfall, intensifying the chill.

Recent rainfall has transformed Islamabad’s weather, clearing smog and bringing sunny skies. The PMD forecasts dry conditions in the capital, with cool mornings and evenings expected in the coming days.

Punjab will see predominantly dry weather, but dense fog and smog are likely in several districts, including Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sialkot, Hafizabad, Toba Tek Singh, and Jhang. Narowal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, and Sahiwal are also expected to face similar conditions.

Morning and evening hours will be particularly foggy in Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Multan, Bhakkar, Khanewal, Khanpur, and Lia. Dera Ghazi Khan and Rahim Yar Khan are also included in the fog-prone areas.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan will experience cold mornings and evenings, particularly in hilly areas, while Sindh is forecast to have dry weather with no major changes expected.
