Daraz Pakistan, the country’s leading e-commerce platform, has entered into a partnership with Walee, the exclusive digital live-streaming rights holder for HBL Pakistan Super League (HBL PSL) Seasons 9 and 10. Through this collaboration, Daraz will stream the upcoming 10th edition of HBL PSL.

The 10th season of HBL PSL is scheduled to begin on April 11, 2025, with the opening match featuring defending champions Islamabad United against Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Cricket fans can anticipate an enriched viewing experience featuring interactive features and integrated e-commerce opportunities that bridge the excitement of the game with the convenience of online shopping.

Daraz Pakistan was the first platform in Pakistan to deliver large-scale, free cricket livestreaming to mobile users. This new partnership allows the platform to join an expanded roster of digital broadcasters alongside BEGIN, Tamasha, and Myco, marking its return to digital sports broadcasting. With its extensive digital footprint and deep mobile penetration, Daraz continues to play a critical role in expanding access to cricket across Pakistan by bringing the tournament directly to millions of users nationwide—many of whom may not have access to traditional broadcast channels. This partnership also allows Daraz to effectively respond to strong customer demand for cricket content while enhancing user engagement within its app environment.

With HBL PSL X, we are building on our commitment to deliver high-impact digital experiences to our users, said Ehsan Saya, Managing Director, Daraz Pakistan,Through this partnership, we aim to merge entertainment and commerce in a way that enhances user experience and deepens engagement.”

“We are excited to welcome Daraz Pakistan onboard as a key partner for HBL PSL X. With BEGIN, Tamasha, Myco and now Daraz, we are confident that the livestream will bring brands closer to fans, turning game-time excitement into real-time engagement and now sales potentials. The addition of Daraz Pakistan to the HBL PSL digital distribution network significantly increases the reach of the livestream. Walee previously projected a viewership of 42 million for our digital platforms, and with Daraz’s scale and app penetration, we expect overall digital reach to rival that of traditional television broadcasts—at a fraction of the cost to advertisers.” said Ahsan Tahir, CEO of Walee.
