Workshop brought together vice chancellors, deans, registrars, and senior teachers from more than 200 universities across Pakistan. Participants from Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Muzaffarabad, Multan, and Quetta also joined the event online.

DG ISPR discussed key issues related to the country’s internal situation, focusing on security matters and strategic challenges during the session.

Participants expressed commendable role of Pakistan Armed Forces in ensuring defence, stability, and security. They stated that Pakistan achieved significant success in Battle of Truth due to armed forces efforts and expressed full confidence in strength of country’s defence institutions.

Participants also remarked that people of Azad Kashmir and those in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) hold Pakistan Army in high regard. Participants said they received clear guidance on protecting students from negative propaganda and ensuring dissemination of accurate information.

Academics noted that they were given greater awareness regarding national security, information warfare, and challenges facing the country. Engagement between armed forces and academia is a timely and necessary initiative, according to participants.

Participants appreciated ISPR’s initiative for bringing together vice chancellors and academia on a single platform to strengthen coordination on national issues.
