Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry () President Atif Ikram Sheikh and Patron In Chief SM Tanvir welcomed extension of membership renewal deadline for trade bodies by three weeks. Original deadline was March 31, 2026. Request made due to reduced working hours during Ramadan and subsequent Eid holidays.
Mr Tariq Jadoon Khan, Karim Aziz Malik, and Malik Sohail Hussain followed up on request, making issuance of notification possible. DG Trade Organizations approved extension, setting new deadline at April 20, 2026.
Sheikh and Tanvir thanked DGTO for timely decision, saying extension will provide significant relief to chambers and associations across the country. They appreciated personal attention given to this important issue by DGTO. Federation’s President stated commitment to protecting interests of Pakistan’s business community.
