
In a heartwarming gesture, the UAE Consul General, Dr. Bakeet Ateeq Al-Romaithi, kicked off the UAE National Day celebrations by hosting a unique event with special children at the Khudi Restaurant, a facility run by individuals with special needs.
Upon arrival, the Consul General UAE was warmly welcomed by the children, who are part of the restaurant’s team. During the celebration, Dr. Al-Romaithi expressed his admiration for the special individuals, emphasizing their vital role in society. “People with special needs are not behind in any field. Their contribution to the nation’s development is as valuable as anyone else’s,” he remarked.
He also acknowledged their significant role in uplifting Pakistan’s image globally, stating that they are an invaluable asset to the country. The UAE Consul General further added that it was a privilege to serve and connect with these children, gaining love and respect from their unique perspectives.
As part of the ongoing UAE National Day celebrations, major events will take place on November 26, 27, and 28, with festivities continuing through December 2.
