Facebook Outage Leaves Millions Unable to Access Accounts Globally

Facebook and other Meta-owned platforms faced global outage on Friday. Millions of users couldn’t access their accounts due to error messages appearing on both web and mobile versions of the apps, according to Downdetector reports.

The disruption also impacted Instagram and WhatsApp’s desktop feature, suggesting multiple Meta services were affected simultaneously. Similar issues occurred in February when X was down for thousands of users in the US and UK.
