The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Interpol have arrested three fugitives wanted in murder and attempted murder cases in Punjab. Officials announced this on Wednesday.
The suspects—Taimoor Ahmed, Abdul Qayyum, and Ali Raza—were apprehended in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates before being transferred to Lahore. FIA spokespersons stated that Interpol had issued red notices to facilitate their arrests.
After arriving in Lahore, the fugitives were handed over by FIA Immigration officials to Punjab Police authorities.
The arrests signify a joint operation between FIA, its National Crime Bureau, and Interpol aimed at tracking and returning criminals evading justice abroad.
