The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has uncovered multiple merchant accounts linked to Armaghan, the prime suspect in the Mustafa Amir murder case.

According to FIA sources, these accounts were used to process payments for a call center operated from Armaghan’s residence, with staff salaries also disbursed through them. Investigators have identified four bank accounts so far and are examining them to trace additional merchant accounts. Authorities are also probing Armaghan’s cryptocurrency transactions, including recently emptied accounts.

This follows the FIA’s discovery of four companies connected to Armaghan—two registered in Pakistan and two in the United States.

Meanwhile, police have decided to include Armaghan’s father, Kamran Qureshi, in the murder investigation. A progress report has been submitted to the court, confirming that Armaghan’s confessional statement was recorded on video.

“The accused has confessed that he had informed his father Kamran Qureshi after the murder,” the police report states.

Investigators will now question Qureshi based on this statement. Armaghan’s laptop and mobile phones have been sent to Punjab’s forensic lab for analysis. His confession was recorded in the presence of the SSP Anti-Violent Crimes Cell (AVCC).
