Food delivery riders’ popularity surges amidst job scarcity

In response to the scarcity of employment opportunities and the increasing inflation, there has been a surge in the popularity of food delivery riders across the country.

Food Panda, a leading delivery platform, is actively working to provide dignified and convenient job opportunities to young individuals. Currently, Food Panda has more than 50,000 riders affiliated with its delivery platform nationwide. These riders work for eight to ten hours daily and earn between 50,000 to 60,000 rupees per month.

Food delivery riders are provided with easy installment plans for purchasing motorbikes and mobile phones. Additionally, based on their performance and loyalty, riders have access to various incentives and rewards, including bonus discounts, vouchers, and recognition badges.

Furthermore, riders can avail special discounts on SMS, calling, and internet bundles from leading telecom companies. In case of mobile theft, they are provided with mobile protection. Besides, they have access to free accident insurance coverage, as well as free medical consultation with doctors and discounts on medications.

In its commitment to environmental sustainability, Food Panda is also introducing electric bikes for riders and has initiated a pilot service in Islamabad.
