
Lahore, 28 January 2026: Former Australia Test batter Simon Katich is set to return to Pakistan as a commentator for the upcoming three-match T20I series between the hosts and Australia. This marks his first visit since March 2022 when he called the three-match Test series in Pakistan.
The second and third T20Is of the series will take place on Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1 at 4 PM PKT. Katich will be joined by former Pakistan Test captains Aamir Sohail and Ramiz Raja, along with former Test batter Bazid Khan in the commentary box.
Former Pakistan Women’s team captain Zainab Abbas will present for the PCB’s PitchSide Studio, where viewers can enjoy expert analysis during pre- and post-match shows. The series will be broadcast live on PTV Sports in Pakistan, Tamasha, Tapmad, and Myco in the country. For fans overseas, T Sports (Bangladesh), Willow (North America), Cricbuzz (MENA), SuperSport (Africa), and Fox Sports (Australia) will provide coverage. The live stream will also be available on PCB Live for viewers in the United Kingdom.
The High-Definition broadcast of the series will feature 28 cameras, including a buggy camera system, with HawkEye and UltraEdge as part of the Decision Review System (DRS).
