
Lahore Sessions Court fined singer Meesha Shafi five million rupees on Tuesday in a defamation lawsuit filed by fellow artist Ali Zafar. The verdict, delivered by Additional Sessions Judge Asif Hayat, marked the end of a case initiated in 2018 that involved nine judges and 284 appearances.
The ruling saw Meesha Shafi ordered to pay the fine as part of the court’s decision.
