Frosty Winds from Quetta to Bring Cold Wave to Karachi

Karachi is set to experience a significant drop in temperatures as frosty winds from Quetta sweep through the city, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported on Saturday.

The Met Office stated that the minimum temperature recorded last night was 12.5°C, with predictions of nighttime temperatures plunging to 6-8°C over the next four to five days.

Karachi, currently under a cold and dry weather spell, has a humidity level of 53%, with winds blowing at 10 km/h from the north.

The PMD forecasts that this fresh cold wave could bring single-digit temperatures as low as 6°C, likely to last for a week or longer. Residents are advised to brace for chilly conditions, especially during nighttime and early mornings.
