
GMP Foods Pvt Limited, a prominent name in Pakistan’s dairy industry, showcased its dairy innovations at FoodAg 2024, with the Malaysian Counsel General, Mr. Herman, and GMP Foods Chairman, Mr. Yaqoob Paracha, inaugurating the booth.
During the ceremony, Mr. Herman emphasized the need for stronger business ties between Malaysia and Pakistan, highlighting opportunities for collaboration in the dairy sector. He expressed enthusiasm about potential partnerships to benefit both countries.
Dr. Shehzad Amin, Advisor to GMP Foods, demonstrated the company’s wide range of dairy products, including butter, cheese, tea creamer, and frozen foods. Pakistan, a major global milk producer, has a rich tradition of dairy farming, reflecting the cultural and dietary importance of dairy in daily life.
Despite facing challenges like low productivity, limited technology access, and milk quality concerns, Pakistan’s dairy industry is adapting to meet rising domestic demand.
The event attracted media, industry experts, food exhibitors, and enthusiasts. GMP Foods’ Director Mr. Ayoub Paracha and CEO Mr. Huzaifa Paracha were also present, underscoring the company’s dedication to advancing the dairy sector and exploring international growth opportunities.
