ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Gohar Ali Khan stated unequivocally during a press conference in Parliament that Imran Khan’s family was kept fully informed “minute by minute” about all developments. He emphasized this point, asserting, “If we had not updated the family, what would be the purpose of us being here?”

Gohar Ali Khan also revealed that Mahmood Khan Achakzai’s personal assistant was providing updates on a similar timeframe. The chairman clarified that he did nothing alone and reiterated his commitment to serving PTI’s founder wholeheartedly.

Addressing questions about who else was involved in the recent conference call, Gohar Ali Khan confirmed that apart from those already mentioned—Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Sohail Afridi—it also included Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan.

He stressed that there had been no secrecy; everything was thoroughly communicated to ensure transparency with the family. This stance marks a significant departure from previous media reports suggesting any potential lapses in communication or confidentiality.
