Gold prices in Pakistan rebounded sharply on Monday, reaching a new all-time high of Rs303,000 per tola, following an increase in international rates.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs3,429, bringing it to Rs259,773.

The surge comes as global gold prices firmed, hovering near a record high, as investors turned to the safe-haven asset amid growing economic concerns. Market uncertainty intensified after US President Donald Trump announced fresh tariffs, raising fears of a potential global trade war.
