
Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Tuesday, reflecting gains in the international market. In the local market, gold per tola rose by Rs4,600 to reach Rs499,962, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). The rate for 10 grams increased by Rs3,943 to Rs428,636.
This increase follows a decline in gold prices by Rs1,600 per tola on Monday, settling at Rs495,362. Globally, gold prices climbed by $46 to $4,776 per ounce, including a $20 premium, supporting the upward trend in domestic rates. Silver prices also recorded a notable increase, rising by Rs326 to Rs8,260 per tola.
