Government Announces Reduction in Petrol Prices

The federal government has slashed petrol and diesel prices by Rs 2 per litre, easing pressure on households grappling with rising living costs.

According to an official notification, the new price of petrol is Rs 252.63 per litre, while high-speed diesel now stands at Rs 256.64 per litre.

The modest reduction is expected to provide some relief to commuters and businesses alike, as fuel remains a major driver of inflation in the country.
