Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman Criticises Economic Policies
Addressing the “Bano Qabil” graduation ceremony under the Al-Khidmat Foundation, JI emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman stated that Pakistan belongs to its people and not a few families. He emphasized the need for change in the existing system to empower the grassroots.
Rehman congratulated all graduates and highlighted the potential of millions of youth taking advantage of opportunities across the country, which has resulted in a great human capital. However, he pointed out that according to the Constitution, every child should receive free and equal quality education, yet millions are still deprived of it while the government education system is neglected.
JI Criticises Government’s Economic Policies
The JI emir criticized the government’s economic policies, stating that inflation and taxes are being placed on the poor and middle class. He also mentioned that billions of rupees are paid to certain sectors, which he claimed would be addressed if his party came into power by providing free education of the same quality across the country.
Rehman urged the youth not to be disappointed, to take pride in their country, and to play a role in its development and progress.
