Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman paid tribute to Iran’s leadership for thwarting ambitions of America and Israel. He stated that the US aimed to change the Iranian regime, but he emphasized that regime change should occur in the West.
Rehman extended Eidul Fitr greetings to the entire Muslim Ummah, urging Muslims not to forget the hardships faced by people of Gaza. He paid tribute to the children of Gaza and Mujahideen who spent Eid on piles of rubble.
Rehman highlighted that US and Israel began their attacks on Iran targeting 176 schoolgirls. He called for condemnation from all political parties and emphasized the need for unity within the Muslim Ummah in the face of harm to world peace by the ‘troika’ of America, Israel, and India.
Regarding the country’s economic situation, Rehman criticized the government for imposing a tax on petrol instead of providing relief to people.
