Following the conclusion of Halle Berry’s third marriage, an engaging engagement story emerged. The starlet, known for her role as Catwoman in Christopher Nolan’s reboot of Batman Begins, recently announced her engagement to Van Hunt—her partner of five years—and confirmed it with People magazine. This development surprised many who had assumed she would not pursue another marriage.

Berry’s own source at People explained that the idea of getting married again was “never really something on Halle’s mind.” When Hunt did propose, it came as a shock to Berry, who initially needed several months to come to terms with such an occasion. Despite being comfortable with her current relationship, Berry expressed profound love for Van and professed immense happiness in his presence.

“He makes me incredibly happy,” she shared privately. “I feel very fortunate.”

The insider provided more details on their future plans. They are planning a small yet meaningful wedding, limited to close friends and family who understand the importance of this moment in their relationship. However, as with many weddings, there is still no official announcement regarding the date.

Berry’s marriage to Hunt will mark her fourth union, adding an interesting layer to her personal life. She also has a 12-year-old son Maceo from her third marriage with Olivier Martinez and a daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry, aged 17, from her previous romantic involvement with Gabriel Aubry.

Despite these past relationships, Berry appears to be fully committed to Van Hunt now. The upcoming wedding will symbolize the deepening of their bond in ways that transcend casual companionship or even a long-term partnership. It promises to be an intimate celebration marked by love and gratitude for those who have witnessed the journey from afar.
